I try to make sense of this: as I understood, the loan would be not in dollars but in rands equivalent to dollars, and calculation of percent is in rands and the return will be in rands. Since 1 dollar will be more in rands, the bank will get less dollars if exchanged rands to dollars. Does this make sense?

@peternyc I think it makes sense what you say about works inside the BRICS. It looks like China has two circles for its economy-one is for other than BRICS countries where they need dollars and another for non-dollar exchange, instead they have influence. I am not very good at money-currency things, just trying to understand, thanks for talking.
