  2. CAN I JUST POINT OUT Soviet communist cities were built so that everything you need day to day is within 10 minutes walk and everything else is a single bus ride away... I now live in one of these cities and they were that good at this I gave my car away after not using it for 3 whole years. I live in a city and I have a meadow to picnic in, I have a small woodland to walk in, I have a busy little high street, I have endless playgrounds for the kids, the schools are less than 1km from your apartment, there are 24 distributed small hospitals in this city. Same with doctors, council offices, bus stops, everything... Its FANTASTIC.
