THE ARGUMENT FOR IT Is I live in Bulgaria - the poorest country in the EU - and our infrastructure is WAY WAY better than yours... I have not seen a pothole for 10 years - they were out steam cleaning the pavements today in time for summer. YES, they literally steam clean the pavements every year so there is no gum on them or stains.

@jhfdhgvnbjm75 YEP - my rent on a beachside apartment is £120 a month, 300 days of sunshine a year - Im from the north of England, I remember pot holes and rain...!!! Oh - just got my electricity bill for March - £11.30

@LG123ABC - Well a month ago I would have said NO and added lots of swear words about lack of knowledge of geography. BUT - I'm 100 miles from Ukraine 😕 Close enough for the brick dust from the shelling to be on the cars every morning :-? When Russia is NOT invading its gorgeous here - google my city "Burgas". Palm trees and golden beaches. My rent on a beach side apartment is $150 a month. 100F in summer and 20F in winter, you can go skiing 200 miles inland. Great healthcare that is obviously free. Really good community bonds, the cities are organised as multiple close villages so each like 10 apartment blocks has its own school and hospital etc And when Russia is not invading your neighbour - its very safe. No genocide TBH Bulgarians have not got the energy for war, they are like the Greeks but with 70 years of communism thrown in - nothing gets done in a hurry here. They opened a McDonalds in the city - it went bust. Here if you go for a burger you sit for 3 hours and chat.
