ITS IMPORTANT TO KNOW that in the times of slavery, the slave owners would use PAID DAY LABOUR for the really dangerous jobs - why? Because the slave was your ASSET and you didn't want him getting pulled into a threshing machine - but if the psid day labourer lost an arm THAT WAS HIS PROBLEM there were no laws about workers safety or compensation. If your slave lost an arm, YOU lost value in your asset...!!! So in some ways slaves were treated BETTER than paid labourers at the time. THIS IS THE WORLD THE GOP WANTS TO RETURN TO..!!!
