There is no such thing as a "sophisticated" or "expensive" scent - in blind tests on people who don't know it the original "Old Spice" nearly always wins as the most desirable. Only 3 things matter 1) You like the smell 2) the % volatile oils 3) How quickly you use it to avoid oxidisation You could add 4 - natural oils are left-handed isomers in the molecules whereas synthetics are [usually] 50/50 in the right / left isomer and this does affect the smell but its irrelevant if yo LIKE the smell In short - spend $10 on a perfume you like that lasts, keep it by the door, use it every time you go out and use it up in a month.
