But the world grew up and China and India became big boys and Africa is a teenager whilst the USA is the angry 58 year old taking steroids to prove he has not lost it and Europe is the pensioner tending their garden. Britain is the geriatric old duffer on a park bench shouting at immigrant pigeons. Russia is not sanctioned - its massively inconvenienced.

  3. "The thing about sanctions is that they rarely ever work immediately" the thing about sanctions is they hardly ever work EVER. But they do always tend to benefit the USA. If sanctions worked Cuba would be capitalist and North Korea would be full or tourists.
