That's cos after Brexit you could register ferries anywhere - before thy had to be registered in the country they serve. Law onboard ship is the law of the country they are registered in. THIS is that they have zero rights, cos the ferries are registered in - i believe -Cyprus now. It LITERALLY could not have happened in the EU.

THIS is that they have zero rights, cos the ferries are registered in - i believe -Cyprus now. It LITERALLY could not have happened in the EU. Its not happened to their French crews, its not happened to their Irish crews - only THEIR BREXIT CREW...!!!

@michaeldendulk9225 - Dude my friend is a maritime lawyer who has been working on this issue since day 1 of Brexit. And IF YOU WERE a seafarer you would know why this is " P&O states all crew is getting laid off, regardless of nationality" Cos you can not treat different nationalities differently on a ship in respect of working conditions, pay etc and THAT is an international law. THAT is also a really basic thing that anyone in the industry knows.
