He is a narcissist - I can 100% guarantee someone had to write that for him, narcissists literally do not possess the neurological pathways to word an appology. Its like me asking you to describe the political philosophy of the colour blue...

@mvpfocus - No. But they can look very very similar from the outside. The way they behave is incredibly similar, but the core motivation is different. The core pathology is different. An analogy would be a guy speeding at 120mph could be late for an appointment and not care about the law. Or they could be being chased by someone trying to kill them and not care about the law. From the outside they look the same, the core motivation is completely different. The main way to tell the difference is a sociopath wants something and will lie to get it, but will not usually lie for no reason. A narcissist prefers lies to truth. Lies are their friends and truth always hurts them. So they will lie when there is no need.

@tonyb9735 - I'm an author on psychology with three published books on the psychology of narcissism - Are you sure you want to have this conversation...? It's your choice.

@mvpfocus - Oh its way more complicated than this. I was just giving you a way to spot the difference in most circumstances. A narcissist, in its simplest description, is a child that never grew up. they either skipped a developmental stage due to being forced to be an adult too early or more usually they were never required to grow up due to privilege or overprotective parents. Altho there is increasing evidence of a physiological inherited aspect as well - but that's proven at the moment.
