@TimSter15 - HAHAHAHHAHAHA you very clearly have not read very much about Churchill. He was CATASTROPHICALLY USELESS AT EVERYTHING HE EVER DID - except be the Prime Minister in WW2, which he was spectacularly good at. 80% of Churchill's life was a massive disaster. I can not even be bothered to list the failures cos its SO LONG. He also wrote a very good book "the history of the English speaking peoples"

@stoufer2000 - God you people are dense. You genuinely think they are stupid??? The Russians would immediately bomb several soft NATO targets, before the dust of his plane even settled. You make the mistake of thinking everyone is as dumb as you. They would KNOW ABOUT the plot and if it succeeded they would exact immediate revenge. why? Cos Russia would be ungovernable unless they slammed the west for the attack.

Countries don't stop existing cos they get invaded. 2) " he may have neglected the quality of life in the North etc." You are LITERALLY clueless arent you??? He took the £ off the gold standard and crashed the economy, he had the miners shot by the army leading to massive problems with miners in later years, he gassed the Kurds - the first use of chemical weapons in history, he designed and ordered the Gallipoli campaign in which there were 250,000 casualties, he made the problems in Ireland way worse for decades, he was an utterly disastrous first lord of the Admiralty 1911 to 1915 when they - and I kid you not - introduced steam-powered submarines - which all exploded. It just goes on and on and on... For the love of God - read a book.

The Eastern Europeans like a strong man and Putin is that to them. this is why if the west offed him, there would have to be IMMEDIATE retaliation or the place would be ungovernable. The replacement could NOT survive without revenging his death - its the absolute minimum. The problem with living in the west is you are totally ignorant of the reality in Eastern Europe or the reality as it was under communism. What we were told and you are now told is 100% propaganda.

@oldcremehelian3708 - I have friends in Ukraine - they are not worried. They are angry that the west keeps taking up the crisis - they worry it will back Putin into a corner where he will look like he capitulated with the west and look weak; which he cant allow and would therefore be forced to invade.
