@JeatBunkie TBH many are. The real experts are incredibly scathing about this sub and its design - I quote you the comment below "Painting it hi-vis orange like a lifeboat would seem to be an obvious precaution to take." What colour do you think most subs are..??? Bright orange, bright red, bright yellow or bright neon green - you see @JohnDoe-tx8lq IS smarter than the engineers on this sub. They painted it cool white with a trendy eye design on the front. Why does it not have a manual release float to the surface EPIRB [radio beacon] as well as a galvanic corrosion released EPIRB so if its under the water form 24 hours a locator floats to the surface and notifies you of its position? This sub is NOT a good example of design.

@frontenac5083 - COPV's - composite overwrapped pressure vessels - have a nasty habit of randomly failing. It happened to SpaceX 5 years ago on the launch pad. They work fine for 36 pressurisations and then go BOOM on the 37, or the 8th or never
