I JUST TRIED THE FREE VERSION OF DEEPSEEK I gave it the tech speck of a speaker driver and asked it to design my a Voight tube enclosure - It started at first principles and designed one BUT at the end it gave me a materials and parts list with a cutting plan, it accounted for the thickness of the board and gave me 15mm ply or 18mm MDF options, it specified the dampening material and weight to be used. It was like 5 pages of detailed instructions and as afar as I can tell its 100% correct.

MY SUSPICION IS it was trained using Huwawii chips made by SMIC - they initially announced some dedicated AI chips, and then suddenly took down all the press releases and everything about 5 months ago. I initially thought they must have announced an untested product, maybe they just don't want the West to know HOW they are all doing ti so cheaply, cos Kim K1.5 launched the day after and that ia BETTER then DeepSeek, also Bite Dance announced one I believe - about 5 Chinese companies have announced this week ---> So I believe they have new dedicated architecture

The Labour party came to power wiht the idea that Ai would fix everything - but Chat GPT / Am3ric4n AI was NEVER going to do that, and it seems they realised quite quickly and the panic set in. This new AI model uses human like reasoning, and its stand alone they can literally set up a few servers for the NHS, give it the NHS data and have a functional system in 6 months to a year.
