But your trade VOLUME is 60% of China so much of the US economy is just "fake" - $1.6 trillion is returned to online stores. $800 billion of goods purchased get returned but the STORE buys those goods back off you so that counts as economic activity = $800 billion. so $1.6 Trillion and not 1 cent in value-added or tax revenue generated or wages paid. The US government know that being No1 is so psychologically important to the average Am3ric4n that they will do ANYTHING to disguise the fact the US economy is not No1. Its a giant economy, its very important but its not 1998 and in many respects its No2 now.
