  1. HOW ABOUT NOT putting bars on ever window...??? If there is a problem with brake in's then have them lockable but not part of the building structure for Gods sake.

  2.  @darkcloud5830  Yeah its so you can open the window fully and not have kids falling out now I look again - but hinge them at the bottom and have latches at the top so in an emergency, they can be opened.
