  1. NOT true. They are used by people with important jobs, as are mechanical typewriters. I have both. Why do you think you can still buy new pagers and new mechanical typewriters. You can still buy tape-based dictation machines like the Philips LFH388 Pocket Memo. - $600 for a pocket micro cassette dictation machine - why do you think that is...??? Some people have to take security seriously.
