@mrteacherbear Its safe cos its never in flight worthy condition - its always waiting for spare parts so you take an F-15 instead. A plane built back in the day when Am3riuc4 could build stuff and planes were meant to fly and not be financial instruments to make billionaires richer.

@dmitry4c996 The Iranian one was unbelievably impressive when it was in action last year. That has a combination of Russian and Iranian systems.

@ItsEricAZ I just feel as an outside observer that everything in the US military is now a financial instrument first and foremost. I don't for one second think the US in incapable of building great things, but that not as profitable as building problems that need to be solved at the cost of billions of $$$

The US military is not a fighting force any longer - its a financial instrument to move money to billionaires. If you want proof - see how long it takes "DOGE" to go after it...!!!

NA when you get into an F35 you are cognisant this is a likely outcome. Like getting into a Porshe 911 in the 80's - you knew there was a good chance it would end with it wrapped around a tree.
