  1. YES LANGUAGE ALTERS PERCEPTION There is no such thing as BROWN. You only SEE brown cos we have a word for it. It is dark orange. And if you start calling it dark orange whenever you see it - in about 3 to 6 months you will STOP seeing brown. I tried it, it works, its freaky. My mahogany desk I am using is very clearly dark orange...
