  2. Actually, its not that bad - it would be about 10% to 12% using the 1975 measure. But you are 100% correct, the US lies about ALL its statistics - especially GDP. $800 billion of products are bought and sent back online every year in the US - the US govt classifies that as $800b bought by you and then $800b bought OFF you by the online store so they count it as $1.6 trillion in GDP, I believe they are the only govt to do this. US Govt statistics are total fiction.
