If all happen at the same time, it's guaranteed to be the end. The USSR collapsed with 9 out of the 18. Im an author on the collapse of civilisations and you guys score 18/18. The collapse of the USA is guaranteed at this point - Bidens $3.5 Trillion WILL NOT stop it; but it will make the collapse manageable. $1.75 t wont even stop you from hitting Yougoslavia level of collapse; $6 t is pretty much the minimum needed to have any chance of actually reversing the collapse. The USA has ONE SHOT at this - spend like hell on the best infrastructure in the world, or get used to being broke...

  2.  @morganrowell1373  - Well; if you read the book "the fourth turning" it predicts that the USA will collapse about now... But it stresses that time is circular, history is circular, and about every 80 to 100 years there is a great war or great collapse; but it is always succeded by a rebirth and a new society. Lets be real - the USA needs to collapse. It has got to a preposterous situation; and so has my home country the UK - which is also very definitely collapsing. I believe the Biden administration knows the USA is collapsing and is trying to manage that collapse; whereas the UK government of corrupt Tories and their disaster capitalist friends are just going to gouge the country for every last penny as it collapses. America - IMO - will have a hard 15 years; but the new generation, the Tic Tok generation - who are amazing if you take the time to study them - will rebuild the country. It will be a very very different place - and that is what terrifies the Republican white supremacists. But it will be a vastly better more equal country - IF you can prevent the fascists taking over in the decline...

  4.  @morganrowell1373  - Well the thing about the right wing is - they like shooting other people, but they are not keen on getting shot themselves. I.e. they are prepared to kill for what they believe - they are not prepared to die for what they believe. Whereas the left wing are prepared to die more readily for what they believe. So a "civil war" started by the right is unlikely to last long as soon as they start taking casualties. They live in a fantasy world where the left are soy drinking wimps who will not return a shot and run away - so while I think there will be violence; i think it will be short-lived.

  6.  @sjcamx  - Yes, I know of Tom Hartman and listen to him quite often; he has Richard Wolff on quite often. The immediate future does look bleak for the USA; if the book is to be believed. And it makes a pretty compelling case [though it is a boring book if I am honest, great concept, just not engagingly written IMO] but the bright side to it all is - its cyclical and the bad times will be replaced by great times. I live in Bulgaria now - obviously, the 20 years after the end of communism was the 4th Turning for Bulgaria and this country is in the 1st turning and you really CAN FEEL IT. Everything is new, the investment is astonishing, they are pumping money into education and free hospitals. It FEELS like a country on the ascent. Britain my home country; absolutely FEELS like a country at the end of the cycle. Corrupt, idiotic clinging to Empire with Brexit. Just utterly bereft of all hope...
