@lawler197 You are way better off looking at a country that is in the ascendence - a country that was in the **** 20 to 40 years ago and is on the up. The cost of living is lower, the optimism and happiness is greater, the opportunities are expanding, the property prices are lower and rising. Its nice to get up every day and know that tomorrow will be better than today, not the other way around. I left the UK for Bulgaria in 2009. My city is Burgas - look it up, its incredibly beautiful, my rent is $165 a month for a beach front apartment. 109 countries had faster growing economies than the US in 2024 - there is a world of opportunity out there.

Its like a disabled guy in the UK on the radio said "WHAT cost of living crisis...? This is how we disabled and poor people have lived our whole life - THIS IS A MIDDLE CLASS CRISIS. For the first time in their lives the middle class cant afford exactly what they want and they are having a fit about it. For us - its Tuesday" BTW - I left the UK in 2015 - I moved to Bulgaria. The best decision of my life...!!!
