  1. I'm 54, Im an author on psychology and the collapse of civilisations living in Europe. My job can be quite depressing, the trajectory of the west is not good. But part of my job is to monitor what Gen Z are doing online politically and economically - THEY ARE AMAZING. I dont worry for the future so much as I worry about the transition from the old guard to the new. Harris at 59 is very young, but we rapidly need to get to 35 year old leaders. The world is so complex and so fast-moving that even my generation - Gen X are not fully equipped to be the leaders of it. The people who grew up online need to be the one running things by 2030
