WHAT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND is no one WANTS to take on the role of "reserve currency" as it brings with it more problems than benefits in 2023 Because the USA has the $USD and America is obsessed with bragging about everything - we have this idea that its an AMAZING thing to have the reserve currency in your currency, its NOT. No one is setting up a rival - but countries ARE starting to accept direct payments in local currency.

The facts are correct but the reasons for them are straight out of the American Propaganda Playbook 1960. I suppose Cuba has adopted a policy of isolation as well for the last 60 years - refusing to trade with America...
