Im always shocked by the fact that people in the West simply don't BOTHER to read anything put out by the Chinese government on policy and then make videos or go on CNN and talk rubbish. [not meaning Patrick there]

In 2020 Xi announced that China was moving away from supplying the West to supplying its internal market of 800 million "middle-class" consumers. ~~~~~~ "Many of those goods are actually by Chinese manufacturers who have set up transshipment outposts there". this is probably why - im guessing its still more profitable to sell to Americans than the internal Chinese market for now...??? Especially if you make Western intended products that might not have such a good market in China, like XXXL hoddies.
