There is a slider called "temperature" that goes form fact to fantasy basically. some of these videos are misleading int that they had it set to fantasy.

@juliannnnn2000 - some of the videos I have seen have been in Open AI playground with the slider set to 1 and then complaining that it is making stuff up. Im just adding this to the story.

Ive been using Chat GPT for a few weeks and I am sick to death of people saying to me "ITS NOT AI" no that's the point. this is the Gen 1 not AI version and its utterly astonishing. Its that good it has made mE realise the human brain is kinda just a prediction engine and surprise is the feeling of getting that prediction wrong.

STEER BY WIRE is underrated until the truck is 7 years old and then its going to be a living he!! - or more likely a d-y-i-n-g he!! There is NO WAY I am buying a second-hand vehicle with steer by wire - I've had many S-Class Mercedes and the electronics are a nightmare of a €150k Mercedes after 5 years.

WHAT VIEWERS OF THIS CHANNEL DONT GET IS there are millions of normies like me who earn their entire living, pay their rent or mortgage from what they do on a computer, but they are not technical people and they JUST WANT IT TO WORK AND BE NICE TO USE. If $400 for an adjustable stand makes my working day slightly better over the next 10 years thats $40 a year or less than $1 a week to have the screen at the right hight. Apple does not provide TECH - Apple provides solutions that allow people to do work and this is what most people dont get.

@ipikluninja91 - Im a dyslexic author and I can tell you Gramerly premium is not that good. I tried it, then sent the results to my proofreader and she still had nearly as much work to do. I have also thought of using Chat GPT for proofreading, but I will still send it to my human proofreader as she adds much to the work besides spelling and grammar.

@ThomasBuegel mate we live in an entirely fake world now. If I want actual information i read research papers. I don't care which TV is the BEST TV - I just want an OK TV and I don't want to spend 5 hours reading technical info that lies to me. Im busing a pair of reasonable quality headphones - you know which ones? the Sony ones that won HiFi choice headphones of the year. We have way too much choice and way to little actual info to make an informed choice without dedicating days to the project. Im already using Chat GPT to summarise the research papers for me EDOT Q:what are the best noise cancelling blue tooth headphones? A: The best noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones are the Sony WH-1000XM4, YEP - thats what What HiFi said - suits me

They are nothing like as reliable or as nice to use, not by a mile. Im an author, I know people who work on Windows machines and they scream at them all day long. I dont want some plastic POS screen where the spring goes after 4 years and I have to hold it up with books. Millions and millions of people don't even want to have to buy a dongle to plug in a different cable, its just too much hassle.

I have also noticed on Chat GPT the "temperature" slider is very important - if yo have it set to 1 it just makes sh!t up. If yo have to set to 0 it only says the absolute known facts. Learning how to use it is important.

@ransom182 100% I NEED RELIABILITY AND LONGEVITY I am an author, I want it to be reliable and last me a long time before I upgrade. I bought the last 27" intel they did as I didnt know if the M1 would have problems. I can NOT be losing work or screaming at the computer to do stuff. I just need it to WORK. I think I will get and M2 mini and a 27" 5K screen, if I have to upgrade its only the M2 Mini and NOT the full 30" iMac - the 24" is too small for me

@ipikluninja91 - Not only that - even if Chat GPT was as good as she is, she is a human that needs a job and its not like its horrifically expensive. She has served me for many eyars - I wont just dump that cos I can get it cheaper, I dont need the £100 or £200, she does it feeds her kids everyone giving her that money...
