WHAT VIEWERS OF THIS CHANNEL DONT GET IS there are millions of normies like me who earn their entire living, pay their rent or mortgage from what they do on a computer, but they are not technical people and they JUST WANT IT TO WORK AND BE NICE TO USE. If $400 for an adjustable stand makes my working day slightly better over the next 10 years thats $40 a year or less than $1 a week to have the screen at the right hight. Apple does not provide TECH - Apple provides solutions that allow people to do work and this is what most people dont get.

They are nothing like as reliable or as nice to use, not by a mile. Im an author, I know people who work on Windows machines and they scream at them all day long. I dont want some plastic POS screen where the spring goes after 4 years and I have to hold it up with books. "you don't have to be "a technical person" to recognize good value" Being annoyed every day by a bad monitor for 10 years to save $400 is NOT good value. You just dont recognise there is more to value than saving money. "I worry about the way you financed your mortgage if your standard for financial decisions is "I wanted it to be easy and just work" dude I live on a beach in Europe and I don't have a mortgage so maybe don't patronise hey??? Lets be real - you care cos you are financially restricted and a computer is not a business tool for you. I'm not a rich person. In fact, I live a very minimalist lifestyle, but my computer is my business TOOL. It does not matter to me if it costs €2k, €5k, or €10k. You pay what it costs to get the right tool for the job. Millions and millions of people don't even want to have to buy a dongle to plug in a different cable, its just too much hassle.
