  3. I was born in 1970 - Mr Boradhead had a garden next door to ours and he used to do the gardening in a 3 piece suit and high collar, I guess he was born in about 1890. We grew up in the servant's houses of an old Victorian pleasure gardens that had closed about 1950, so we were all dirt poor but had massive ornate gardens. My grandmother and grandfather lived next door and my auntie lived across the courtyard. There was an old lamp on the wall and we would watch the snow each winter as it fell past the lamp and filled the yard 2 or 3 feet deep...
