  1. BRITISH PERSON HERE this is very hard to admit, but Frane was right and my father war right - my father said in the 80's this is what would come of relying on Am3ric4...!!! I have not spoken to my father in 25 years, he is a terrible person. But when it comes to history and geopolitics, he is a legitimate genius. He was on "watch lists" in the 1970's as a political activist and I can now see why... Its very hard to admit the man who abused you for 20 years was actually right. But he was. Terrible father - genius in other regards.

I THINK AM3RIC4NS NEED TO UNDERSTAND Europe did not "rely" on Am3ric4 cos we are lazy and cheap - Am3ric4 put forward a model of united defense WE GAVE UP doing certain things satellite, software, BASES, production so we DIDNT duplicate US systems and production - this was a NET LOSS to our economies. The argument was it was cheaper and better to let the US do this - and it was the US MAKING THOSE ARGUMENTS. Many of us were against this, but the US convinced our politicians it was more efficient and stronger to be INTEGRATED into a joint defence. So we now own a car and the US owns the engine - and the US wants to give the engine to the guy in the truck trying to run us off the road...!!!
