  1. If they cure my brain damage and my long covid I will be back into work like a shot. Cos as difficult as it is to imagine, I preferred living on £12,000 a month to £500 a month. My situation is obviously extreme, but benefits I the UK are SO LOW no one is just lounging on benefits. I have not put the heating on or had a hot shower in 5 years.

IVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR 5 YEARS the old model of running a country and an economy simply WILL NOT function when half the jobs are done by Ai or robots, people live to 85 and MOST importantly - ROBOTS DON'T BUY PRODUCTS ONLY HUMANS DO...!!! People worry about the unemployment - forget unemployment; CONSUMPTION is what drives economies. 50% of spending in the US is now done by the top 10% cos NO ONE HAS MONEY and that AI taking your job - not only does it not need paying - it does not need to buy stuff

I LOVE THE WAY THE GOVERNMENT thinks that Ai will cut 20% of the civil service and make it "more efficient" but think that jobs will be there for dissables people EVEN IF AI did not cut jobs in the private sector - you just dumped 50k able bodied people in to the job market. I am exceptionally dissapoiunted by the Labout government
