NO ITS NOT. Its "everything sucks, and we CANT CHANGE IT"

THIS IS NOT TRUE - LABOUT DOES HAVE A STORY and in all seriousness that story is "We are not the Tories. We want to be in power. We are technocratically competent and WE believe that was what was wrong with the Tories and if we change that things will be GREAT again" Labout is literally a party of tool makers They do have a story but the story is so astonishingly bland, you have to look very very VERY hard to see it.

Stop talking about WEF - there is no conspiracy its just rich people doing whats best for rich people as it has been for 3,000 years

You genuinely need medical assistance

@markwelch3564 do you know - I don't even think thats the story. I really dont. I think the real story is a colossal lack of vision and ambition Starmer and the crew he amassed are SO centrist, establishment and technocratic that their idea of radical reform is to use a blue pen not a black one. Taking money from the donors to do what they want implies they ever had other ideas, they they know its wrong. I dont think they do. I dont think they possess the vision to do things the donors would not want. Starmer believes [IMO] that is you are just a better administrator of the current system - things will magically get better. Now unlike most - I actually understand the actual value of administrators, most people think they should be done away with, they are an unnecessary burden and expense - good administration is VITAL to a country. But Starmer see good administration as and end in itself. You need good administration to IMPLEM<ENT your vision. Starmer's vision IS good administration - he is Sir Humphry Appleby in No 10. I dont think Starmer has a vision that could be corrupted.

@countryman5329 colluding cooperate in a secret or unlawful way in order to deceive or gain an advantage over others. They are not colluding - they are just openly doing what is best for them. Its not a conspiracy its just acting in blatant self-interest.

@markwelch3564 To your metaphor - the Titanic is sinking and Starmer thinks the way to stop it is to fill the lifeboats more orderly and make sure they have the right number of people. YES that will help. But it won't stop the ship sinking and it won't save all the people - just a few more. The visionary thing to do was to steam back to the ice berg and get everyone onto the burg cos THAT is not skinking.

@markwelch3564 Yeah you might be right.

@OneAndOnlyMe I prefer them to populist - but its not going to fix the UK. Better run continued decline is still decline
2
Thats a lie. They told you NO story. They said NOTHING and relied on the Tories collapsing. Any story you got YOU projected onto the beige wall of Labour.
2
@countryman5329 - If you are talking to me?? Its not a plot. Its barely even a plan. And its not a chip on my shoulder its not giving billionaires and the WEF more power than they actually have. They are not Opus Dei, they are just rich a$$h0les robbing people blind. They barely even coordinate they just all have the same interests. If YOU give them this mythical power you are automatically defeated before you even start to fight back
2
@edwardmclaughlin7935 If it was a conspiracy you WOULD NOT KNOW3 ABOUT IT WOULD YOU. 1) I have a deep h4tr3d of stup!d!ty 2) I have a deep h4tr3d of giving rich people more power than they already have.
2
@Redf322 AH right - sorry I was being dim.
2
@markwelch3564 - I 100% agree. My deepest worry was that they would get into power and have NO VISION to change the UK that would make a substantial difference to people's lives, because Starmer has crushed the left of that party so the ONLY place angry disappointed people have to go if he fails is REFORM. Crushing the left and then being pathetically centrist is how you got M in Italy and H in Germany. I clung to the hope that they would be radically more ambitious and visionary once in power but they didnt want to scare the electorate. NOPE - they have been even LESS visionary and MORE technocratic in power than my worst fear. I wont judge, I am massively disappointed. But I will give them 2 years before I pass judgement.

This was my answer to another comment about Starmer doing the donors bidding: do you know - I don't even think thats the story. I really dont. @SarahWalker-Smith OH no Starmer is very very intelligent. And he is personally very very ambitious. But he is NOT a visionary. Another guy posted this comment to me: "To think he might have a genuine belief that being a better captain of the Titanic can make "ship currently sinking" work better for everyone is just tragically depressing" Starmer is the polar opposite of Elon Musk - Elon IS mostly an idiot but he is a visionary dreamer. Starmer is highly competent, highly intelligent but he has never has a vision of something amazing in his life. Im not going to judge too early - this is just my initial impression - I will give it two years. We will see.

@M2Mil7er Nothing billionaires do is ethical, their existence is unethical. But my point is they are not doing anything secret, they are just blatantly acting in thier own self interest and there is no conspiracy.

@billB101 - Is the train drivers Union ASLEF a conspiracy...??? NO - its people advocating and organising what is best for them. These people are rich and dum8 and selfish. They are not a secret cabal of geniuses organising the world for their benefit. You want proof...??? They have literally only just worked out that robots don't buy stuff and people in extreme poverty don't have kids - why do you think they are suddenly all panicking about depopulation...??? They do not care about old people they care about consumers and no consumers = big problem and China is not letting them have their new consumers. These are honestly NOT bright people - they are lucky people. They got lucky.

@Redf322 I dont quite get your point. But I live in Bulgaria now - a cash-based society. Honestly the power and control it gives to ordinary people, you only realise if you have lost it and then regained it. I have not paid a bank charge in 15 years except the 5 leva [£2] a month it costs to have the account. I have to go pay my bills cahs at the kiosk, you think this is a pain, but it means the utilities HAVE to provide a human you can query your bill with, get problems sorted etc. Cash = control.

@M2Mil7er Well I mean in reality ALL political meetings are " behind closed doors to shape these laws and loopholes before unleashing them on the public" arent they.
