  1. Im an author - can I just say, you should write a book about this. I'm absolutely serious. Please write a book. Don't worry about grammar or storyline or spelling. We have editors and proofreaders for all that stuff. Just write a short story of an event, a bit as you have here - you know 1500 to 2500 words and then write another, then another. Then put them all in chronological order and then write the bits that tie one event to the next. That's basically how you write an autobiographical novel. But what is important is that your story lives on for other people - you would be absolutely astonished the effect your book can have on people's lives. 3 people have contacted me about my first book and said it helped them to not take their own life, you never know the effect your work will have and you definitely have a story to tell...
