  2. Yeah - like Tod of Tods Workshop talking about back scabbards in movies. They are there for multiple reasons 1) editing - its always in the same place unlike waist-mounted 2) safety, waist scabbards are dangerous for the actors when running, jumping, falling, etc 3) they look cool - but that is the last consideration.
