  1.  @BrunoHeggli-zp3nl  This was my comment: BRICS HAS OPENED UP its payment system to none BRICS countries - so if Australia buys from India they can PAY in $AUS People get very confused about BRICS - its essentially a global PayPal - you pay in your own currency and get paid in your own currency - the system balances the currencies out [oversimplified] ---!--- In 2025 you don't NEED a reserve currency cos everything being electronic means you can just balance the books globally electronically. My bank account accepts any currency and I can keep it in XYZ or transfer it to GBP at the day rate.

  7. LET ME EXPLAIN WHATS HAPPENING China is issuing Govt Bonds in $USD that are redeemable in $USD or RMB so the OPEC countries etc are stashing their USD in China. China has $1.5 Trillion in USD in cash. This is sucking up the available USD in the global market causing it to rise. it means the US has lost control of the $USD. You can buy and sell in $USD and never touch the SWIFT system

  8.  @bipl8989  Between 1918 and about 2000 all the weather veins in the UK were flat 2D cutouts of animals in profile, before that they were mostly 3D made from beaten copper in the shape of a fox or a cockerel etc. Every single person who could make them was unlived in WW2. Someone rediscovered the technique in about 2000 and now you can buy them everywhere, its not THAT complicated, just a case of softening the copper correctly so it stretches but does not ear as you hammer it on a bad of lead shot. But even something as relatively simple as that - once the institutional knowledge and skill have gone - its REALLY hard to get it back. The UK lost 200 trades in WW1.

Elon is obsessed with making it all out of stainless steel cos that is cool and he will NOT let go of this - but its 3X the density of aluminium and about 1.3X the density weight to strength for the alloys you would use for space travel - so its TOO HEAVY to have legs. So the chop sticks are because stainless shiny and cool. Also - this is why it will never actually work - cos its just TOO HEAVY to carry stuff to orbit. If he changed to aluminium and carbon fibre for the 1st stage and a disposable 2nd stage it would be working and functional NOW.

I HATE ELON MUSK and please God dont make me agree with him - but I'm not sure this is hate speech - Change the Jews for Canadians "The Canadian Defamation League has been blaming white people for decades cos they cant criticise the Canadians who are their real enemies" NO ONE would say that is hate speech. In all of the things in this controversy replace Jews with Canadians and its not hate speech. So its not hate speech.
