MY EU CITY switched from car based to bike/people based in 2010 and OH MY GOD what an unbelievable difference it made Parking is prohibitively expensive - busses are brand new electric and a flat rate of 60 cents per trip - the centre is booming with no empty shops, I literally gave away my car a year ago as I was not using it...
