The GBU57 was developed for use in deserts against flat topped homogenous concrete bunkers built in the 1980's. They are ridiculously easy to countermeasure - slanted hillside - concrete diamonds - non-homogeneous concrete - round tunnels - multiple tunnels - sectional tunnels - these ALL defeat them. So when they tell you what an amazing success they were - know they are LYING. [BTW - there are lots of papers online about how to deflect them]
