  1. I WISH YOU AMERICANS would stop whining about your dirt cheap tax payer subsidised gas prices... Here in Europe its been over $10 a gallon for 10 years and its now $12 in most places. countries are not allowed to subsidise fossil fuels here.

  2.  @dlazo32696  - Many reasons. You have to decide WHAT to subsidise - we choose health care. You chose gas prices. People in the Mississippi Delta area have a lower life expectancy than people in Bangladesh, the poorest part of the Indian subcontinent. The other reason is the massive pollution your cars cause to your built environment - air pollution is one of the reasons your national life expectancy is going down - unique in the western world. Next is the climate emergency. You have 18 months water left in lake mead, after which 25 million Americas have no water and no electricity... We prefer to live - on balance - in a place where they put more effort into keeping you alive than killing you. AND YES - thank God you live in America...
