@raclark2730 Its power paint - it rains in the UK constantly the rain will have washed it off already. You know the biggest problem for Stone Henge - Am3ric4n tourists - climbing on it or chipping bits off it, that's why no one is allowed near it now. Am3ric4n tourists have done 1 MILLION x more damage than this powder paint has. Its Am3ric4n tourests that have the LOW STANDARDS, that why they are banned from large parts of Japan.

@HaKilly What you actually mean is you cant imagine that anyone would go to the trouble of actually looking something up and doing maths before commenting on the internet because that is so far outside your sphere of daily life. I used the visitor statistics for Stone Henge and the UK government tourism visitor statistics for public attractions and the DVLC vehicle emissions statistics for the UK. I made sure to select data produced before 2023 to ensure no contamination with AI Slop.

@raclark2730 Well the thing is at this point NO ONE is having their minds changed. The question is "how many people are actively demanding change?" so these actions are to keep the issue in the minds of the already converted. NO ONE is giving up their 7.0L V8 truck because "Just Stop Oil" made a really good impassioned argument on News Night. But a few hundred already committed people might write to their local MP because they have had their conscience pricked. The whole "These kind of antics only hurt their cause" is spurious. They could e-a-t a puppy on live TV and no one would decide to use more oil.

@ulrichenevoldsen8371 YES sit there and be quiet and don't do anything until we have sorted out this problem that is going to end humanity. I traveled 55 countries in 25 years and I have not been anywhere for 15 years - why? Because its not sustainable, one day when we have this sorted out it WILL be. But for now its not. I dont have any kids but I walk past the infant's school every morning with my dog and Id like those kids to have a future on a livable planet. SO Sit still and save the poor planet we are on for the kids - you s-e-l-f-i-s-h *****
