There are way more people living in poverty now. Learn to say what YOU MEAN. AND you are confusing correlation with causation. Capitalism is NOT responsible for fewer in poverty - progress is responsible. In the USSR poverty massively diminished, life expectancy went from 35 in 1940 to 75 in 1970. In a communist centrally controlled economy. China lifted 800 million out of poverty - the COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA with a hybrid economy. Ame3ri4 lifted the vast majority of its population out of poverty with capitalism [and is now plunging them back into poverty]. Progress lifts people out of poverty regardless of the economic system. Repeat after me "CORRELATION IS NOT CAUSATION"
