Actually thats a hematoma, they go kinda numb. EDIT: for the sad weirdoes who feel the need to tell me YES this is a type of extreme bruise - but it needs treating completely differently, it wont just get better on its own

@exmello Its when the impact is so high it bursts not only the minor blood vessels but the larger ones as well, but not the big ones that would be "internal bleeding" that requires surgery. Its that middle ground - its still dangerous and needs lots of hospital visits - I had 8 hospital visits, 1 every 3 days to make sure it was going away and not getting infected.

ITS A HEMATOMA massive damage to the larger blood vessels in the area caused by blunt force trauma - the danger is the body does not remove the blook and infection sets in I had one on my A$$ after falling down a flight of concrete steps in the wet.
