I found out today - from a 10 year old documentary - that there is significant evidence Putin blew up 4 apartment blocks in Russia [killing hundred] in order to start the war with Chetchnia in order to get elected president... There were supposed to be 5 explosions but one failed to detonate and the explosives were Russian military and the detonators KGB. Navalnie dies for investigating this as have many others...

@annbjorn - I think the documentary was based her book. It was definitely based on a book by a woman and they interviewed her. Im really bad at remembering names.
