  1. YEP - and we Europeans told you that doing |"literally nothing" was not going to change a thing. Many of us - me included - gave you specific action plans as to how to bring economic activity in a city to a stop for days on end to extract change... [etc] But we realised - you are 330 million individual people who will never personally s4cr3fice for the greater good. I got told SO MANY times, "Dude if I do that Ill. lose my job" If you are not prepared to lose a job to save democracy, you don't deserve democracy...!!!

  2.  @e.d.1642  Am3ric4ns only do things when it personally and directly benefits them - partly its genetic, you re a setteler colony of immigrants who abandoned their neighbours to personally benefit from a better life, partly its the propaganda they have fed you for 80 years that the most important thing in the universe is you and your wellbeing. This is why every other even half developed country ion earth ahs secured paid vacation, maternity leave and universal healthcare for its population - and you guys have not. I mean that's the very basic stuff societies do at the beginning. Most civilisations did that somewhere between inventing the wheel and buying an iPhone. Not you guys.
