As a Brit, I can say - rarely the British, the British are rarely the good guys. We had a good spot between 1939 and 45, but mostly its bad stuff.

@dennischiu272 We also had Agincourt in 1415, that was a high point. And somehow we managed to turn a defeat by French Vikings in 1066 into a national win - despite the fact that it literally ingraines wealth inequality in the country that lasts to THIS DAY. If you are British with a French surname you are likely in the top 1% - no joke. Its the OG wealth inequality.

IM HISTORY GUY AND A POLITICS GUY its way less fun than you think cos I've got a pretty good idea of what's coming. YOU WILL SURVIVE as a country, that's the good news. But any people capable of stopping fascism when its in power is a people capable of obtaining universal healthcare and mandatory vacation time - so that's not going to happen. You will go fascist. But they are incompetent so you will survive.
