The average family has 2 kids on 1 salary in their mid 20's, a person on minimum wage can afford rent on an apartment on their own. I know it feels like the whole world is collapsing - but mostly its just Am3ric4 and the UK, to a lesser degree the wery neoliberal Western world - but its defiantly NOT the whole world. There are 85 families in my apartment block - I know every one of them. Don't lose hope - but maybe move.
