The algorithm is essentially an abusive partner. You deal with it LIKE you would an abusive partner,. Set your own limits and boundaries and accept that it may walk out on you. Its way better to have HAD a successful YouTube career for a while and your mental health than it is to try and save a youtube career and lose your mental health... Do what you want to do, what you can cope with and if thats not enough, thats just life - things don't last forever. Personally, I think YouTube should give 10 hours of mental health/fame coaching to every YouTuber that hits 100k subs.
