Teresa May will actually be looked on very sympathetically by history I believe. She took on an impossible job at the worst time in history and actually TRIED to achieve the best possible outcome. She failed cos the job was impossible - but she damn well gave it her best shot and I say that as a rabid remain voter and labour supporter.

@godehardbrysch7905 - I think this had a lot to do with it. I also think the desperate desire for a no deal by the ERG [in order to avoid the tax changes] was a huge factor.
