  1. I used to go to northern France approximately every month, and sometimes absolutely giant shells were dug up by the ploughs and stuff. The amazing thing is they've not dug them up before, these are not small things. These are like a metre tall. Many farms have a cage at the side of the field to put the shells in until they come and collect them - stop the kids messing with them. But you do become very blasé to them, taking pictures standing next to them and holding them and stuff. You forget that they are unexploded...
