@aimeemacdn - Its something I have been learning about the last few months - medieval peasant life and Historical Materialism. We didn't have an industrial revolution cos we were a country of geniuses as we were taught at school - we had an industrial revolution cos we were a nation of dispossessed starving peasants prepared to work down mines and in factories for starvation wages...

THAT is what yo pay £40,000 a term at Eton for

@aimeemacdn Very sh!tty - its what led to the industrial revolution and capitalism. Lots of starving ex peasants in the cities you could exploit

@2msvalkyrie529 - He owned every bit of the common lands of Britain, as do you if you are British, as do I.

@fredatlas4396 - Of the industrial revolution - YES. For 80% of the country, life was hideous in those times.

BINGO and congratulations to you my friend... And that is the reason farmers vote Tory - its in the DNA even if they dont know why. But they farm land stolen from the people and they live in fear of it being taken off them. At this point its just an ancestral instinct - but that's the reason.

@Zwavelpoeder - You admire rich sex traffickers cos they have "achieved" more than you? What about fentanyl dealers in their Lamborghinis? Should we acknowledge their success??? Being born to rich parents. Going to the most expensive school in the country. Lying and conning your way into the highest office in the land is NOT an achievement - it's a disgusting betrayal. I live on £600 a month and donate my time free of charge to help victims of narcissistic abuse to recover. I have spent two years writing a book to help people cope with life after the pandemic cos I knew the world would go to sh!t, it will be free. My neighbours love me and I love them. Who is the more successful...??? Me on £600 a month making the world a slightly better place - or Boris Johnson on £180k a year making it immeasurably worse for millions???
