  1. In 2002 I was recovering from alcoholism and I started working as an "odd job man" in the north of the UK. Even back then it was a surprisingly high paying job. I was clearing £20 an hour - thats £40.09 now and there were $2 to the £1 then so thats like $80 an hour. I REALLY enjoyed the job, the average person can not do or is not willing to do the simplest task like paint a gate or fix a hinge. My mistake was making it into a "propper" business doing custom garden buildings - the 2008 crash ended that instantly

  2. I NO LONGER HAVE TO DRIVE cos I live in a 15-minute city in Europe and OMG am I pleased. I drove S Class Mercs from 1994 to 2022, my last was a 2012 model and it was a plastic pile of crap and electronics
