  1. I WRITE BOOKS ON THIS STUFF and this is one of the most important videos you will ever watch. A point that he was making buyt got distracted by the interviewer - about the fact these companies dont pay wages, they receive RENT. Wages funnel money to the bottom on the system to be spent on OTHER things. If you are paying 1% wages not 80% THERE IS NO MONEY GOING INTO THE SYSTEM TO KEEP IT FUNCTIONING and the system runs out of money, which is what is happening in the west, hence "quantitative easing" the system keeps running out of money cos wages are not being paid.

  2. I DO NOT LIKE THIS MAN but as an author on the collapse of civilisations I have to admit he is correct, capitalism is dying. It has reached it inevitable conclusion all the money has been sucked up to the tiny number of people at the top, the working class are broke and in debt, the middle class are now being sucked dry. The poor in the UK are down to 2,000 calories a day - 1,800 and historically you have a revolution. The rich own all the money and all the power and society is organised for their benefit exclusively...

  3.  @richardc861  This is my guess, and it is a guess. In the last 40 years CNN did 30 articles on industrial automation taking jobs. In the 3 months after Chat GPT launched CNN did 220 articles on AI taking jobs. Because THIS TIME ITS IMPORTANT PEOPLES JOBS, the journalists, the writers, the bankers, the accountants, the solicitors. AI will render 30% of the population unemployed in 15 years, but its the important 30%, the ones who write the news and enact the legislation so we WILL have some form of UBI. The cost of doing business will be next to zero for many corporations, we will have to tax them at 80% and pay people a UBI just to make the economy work, let alone the social implications. And something WILL happen - every revolution in history is started by the lawyers, the solicitors. And AI means they are out of a job. Im hopeful that the realisation that change is needed will proceed the revolution - but either way - change will come. We wont live in a capitalist society in 25 years, not in the way we know it.
