This is why truly enlightened people never change the world - as soon as you even start on the path to enlightenment you realise what other people believe is none of your business... That your intervention, no matter how well-intentioned, will likely make things worse. And that you are responsible for your own happiness, not that of others. Finally - that you know basically nothing, you used to believe a lot of things, but what you actually know is next to nothing, you don't even know yourself...

@jeffreyyeh1035 - Its funny you should mention that. I made a comment yesterday that a sales tax was changed in 1980 and it turned out to be late 1979 as a guy very aggressively and abusively pointed out to me. I said "Ok, thanks, but forgive me for not arguing but I just don't care enough to argue about this" He was even more livid that I would defend to the death my belief over this entirely irrelevant point... In 2021 - you HAVE to care, everything is life or death apparently.

@QvsTheWorld - Not really cos I keep inserting myself into the sphere of influence when I am in less tranquil and spiritual states. Its just a function of being spiritually awakened, not one I necessarily agree with and in fact is the reason I dip in and out. If anything it is the thing stopping me becoming fully spiritual - a dilemma I will one day sort out I am sure.
