My friends in Am3ric4 - every day or so they tell me the new thing they bought, I talk to them about the thing I am PLANNING on buying. They cant get that there is a pause [days or weeks] between THINKING about buying something and buying it [or more often not]. For them thinking about buying something and buying it are the same process. The only "planned" purchases are cars and houses.
