  1. SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSEHOLDS ARE A CAPITALIST INVENTION Here in Bulgaria, the top floor is the young ones the middle floor is the parents and the grandparents are on the ground floor. The grandparents look after the kids if the parents work. In the apartment block I live in there are multiple families or 3 generations, they have separate small apartments but the system is the same. At 5pm all the babas are going up and down in the elevators with the food they have cooked for the other members of the family - I'm jealous...!!!
